Try out our Grandma's own Cherry Shortbread Cookies recipe. We're excited to share this recipe for easy homemade cookies with you. In no time you'll have yummy homemade shortbread cookies that melt in your mouth. Around Christmas time Grandma's classic holiday cookie recipes are pulled out to be made and enjoyed. But what if your cookies aren't turning out the way that your own Grandma's used to? The key to great shortbread is getting that perfect cookie consistency, a shortbread cookie isn't too soft that it's crumbly, and it isn't so hard that it's chewy either. These cookies just kind of melt in your mouth with each delicious bite. One of the best things to remember is to keep your butter at room temperature for these cookies. You want nice soft butter but not melted butter. Also, don't skimp on cheaper ingredients, use real, full-fat, high-quality butter, and no margarine substitutes either. Enjoy this and many of our other dessert recipes from our collection.
