A bit more about two ingredients found in this miracle cleaner (exact recipe at the link below!).
1. Baking soda - "Sodium bicarbonate is the chemical compound with the formula NaHCO₃. Sodium bicarbonate is a white solid that is crystalline but often appears as a fine powder. It has a slightly salty, alkaline taste resembling that of washing soda." (Wikipedia)
2. Hydrogen peroxide - "Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with the formula H 2O 2. In its pure form it is a colorless liquid, slightly more viscous than water; however, for safety reasons it is normally used as an aqueous solution." (Wikipedia)
One of the reasons why this baking soda works well as a clean is because it is a slightly alkali which gives it a better ability to dissolve grease and grime. It also works at removing odors. As for hydrogen peroxide, it is able to literally isolate the oxygen from a surface making it so the bacteria can not live.
